On some chargers I get a large icon on the middle of the screen on most it is the little one at the top right how can I get the large one all the time

I believe that you will only ever see that large indicator when your iPhone battery is either nearly fully discharged, or, when you have a charging cable plugged in yet it is not charging. Therefore, the large indicator is not something you would normally want to see. That display is not a The typical indicator is the green battery icon with lightning bolt in the upper right corner.
