If you are in the U.S., you will not have it today.

It is illegal to distribute the TikTok app, or updates to it, to anyone in the U.S. The law does not require Apple or Google to reach into your phone and delete the app if you currently have it installed on your phone, but they are not allowed to distribute new copies, distribute updates, or offer re-downloads.

Until the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act (and the “ruinous” fines associated with violations) is amended or repealed, or ByteDance complies with the act, the app will undoubtedly remain unavailable in the US.

If you need it that fast, you’ll need to travel to another country. Preferably to one where the app is not also banned.

It also needs to be pointed out that the ban on TikTok HAS NOT BEEN LIFTED. The current administration has extended the deadline for enforcement of the law for 75 days (mid-March) in hopes a deal can be made with ByteDance. China has stated over and over again that ByteDance will not sell itself to an American company.

So the joy of having TikTok back in the App Store may be short lived. Please keep that in mind.
