Hello I install Captionator to fcpx and while generated my captions I paste them into timeline I did have fragments with manual created captions but this one I add with captionator but they are somehow grayed out and not visible how can I make them visible? And what could create that problem ? The first photo is photo with caption copied from captionator and the second with the one I created myself, please can someone help
Ok, I went and look at this and I think I have a pretty good idea of what is happening.
I don't use captions much, and never more than one type of caption at a time, that's why
I missed it.
You have two separate caption roles, or two separate languages.
You can only have one active at a time.
So what you need to do is go to the Timeline Inspector, as before,
but instead of Captions, click on Roles. Then select the Role and language
to activate.

As Luis said, there are multiple roles with different formats, so they are displayed separately above and below. I think the caption at the top (displayed in blue) is probably the default "iTT". The lower row is most likely "SRT" or "SBV" (displayed in gray) set in the captionator.
Please delete unnecessary roles. Menu:Change:Edit role
Open the Timeline Index (Command-Shift-2).
Click on Captions
Select all the relevant captions and press V
Okay I think the problem was that the captions are in different format so when I change the format they are visible
But the only captions that are showing are the captions that I generated myself not the one that captionator generated
