Received Two-Factor authentication code via SMS that I did not request

PLZZ help me asap...i got this otp in my personal phone number -

"Your Apple Account Code is: 5682**. Don't share it with anyone. @apple.com #5682** %apple.com"

what does this mean exactly ??

does this mean someone created a new apple id & used mine ph-n.o for verification of their new apple id ?

while giving a lecture, i mistakenly presented this otp... [everyone knows my ph-no, but someone did this for sure]

Change your password I would say. Someone is trying to access your Apple account and the Two Factor Authentication that was the text kept that from happening.

It means that someone is trying to login as you. Change your password and you should be fine.
