Unable to make or receive calls in Apple Watch when away from my iPhone

I’m unable to make or re ie e calls when away from my iPhone . Apple Watch says I’m connected to t mobile but will not let me receive or make calls . Only when the call ends do I get a notification of a missed call . I have cellular on the watch , and tried troubleshooting with t mobile support . I’m tired of paying for something that isn’t getting resolved

Very frustrating, indeed. What did T-Mobile say? If you have a cellular plan for that watch (one you pay for each month, just like with your mobile phone), then you should be able to make and receive calls without having your phone nearby. This would be an issue with the cellular provider for that watch. They are the ones you are paying for the service. Apple cannot help here.
