When will Marvel Snap be returning to the App Store?

From what I'm reading, the studio that puts out Marvel Snap has not yet taken all the necessary steps to comply with the divestiture provisions of the law.

"Early stages" of seeking a new publisher is not going to cut it for the purposes of the law. Actually going through with a business deal that meets the divestiture requirements, and being able to show that to the authorities, is the bar the studio will need to clear.

That probably won't happen overnight. But if they are serious, it presumably will happen in much less than the five years that it took to reverse Thanos's "Snap".

Your premise is faulty. As far as I can tell, Second Dinner has not complied, and distribution of their app is still banned in the U.S.

They apparently made a social media type post somewhere saying that "We're actively working on getting the game up as soon as possible", but a post like that is not the same thing as actually carrying out the legal steps required for their app to become unbanned.

Nobody here knows when (or if) this ban will be rescinded.

Few are willing to risk the "ruinous" fines (as much as $5000 per person) in the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act for allowing app downloads associated with banned entities, and the current status here is entirely less than clear.

No vendor wants to risk paying a $5,000-per-person fine for violations of the act.
