Welcome!

As these are international English-language forums with users world-wide, "where do I find..." questions are hard to answer if we don't have at least a rough idea of your country or region. It does you little good if we recommend vendors who do not ship to your location, or are too far away to drive.

That said, you are going to have an epic quest. My main US source for really old Mac parts saw their "vintage" inventory diminish severely during COVID. Today I can only find one G3 power supply their site and it is for a PowerBook G3. They do not show it as compatible with the iBook G3. The "barrel-type" plug connectors look almost identical, but their barrel diameters are slightly different— a "no go."

I recommend you pin down the exact sub-model for your iBook before web shopping. One vendor I've used shows 25(!) sub-models of the iBook G3 including both 12- and 14-inch display models. Two suggestions for that:

—1— I don't believe Apple's serial number lookup goes that far back and, lately, useful information once provided seems badly "thinned," likely sacrificed at the Altar of Minimalist Design.

However, this site usually picks up very old devices and I have no security concerns with it; I've used it for years:

Search Model/sub-model from serial number

For security reasons, please do not post a serial number in these forums.

—2— From a newer Mac, go to the Mac App Store and download the free MacTracker database. It shows model details and may help you narrow the search. The entries show other useful identifiers like model identifiers and order numbers. Example:

The "M" may be printed on the label on the computer.

MacTracker shows all G3 iBooks using a 45W adapter. In listings that show an Apple part number for the iBook adapter, the adapter is M7332 and looks like this:

In another thread, a senior member very familiar with older Macs posted that many of these "died young" due to failed corroded connections, so caveat emptor. Search eBay by the M7332 number and look for "tested as working" offerings

You will find a list of iBook computers here:

https://everymac.com/systems/apple/ibook/index-ibook.html

Please note that there were two different DC plug sizes used for the Yo-Yo and other iBook power adapters. The DC plugs have a special barrel with a centre pin that looks like a 3.5 or 2.5 mm earphone plug inside. The iBook G3 Clamshell models used a DC plug with a 9 mm outside barrel diameter, while later "square" iBook G3 computers (white or opaque) had a smaller 7.5 mm barrel.

These special DC plugs are not to be confused with "normal" barrel-style DC plugs for standard/universal power adapters (but some third-party adapter pieces/tips have been known to exist).

As always, check that the DC output voltage and current values of a power adapter are in accordance with the requirements for the computer. Read any labels and texts (a magnifying glass may be needed) on both the iBook G3 and the power adapter.

Make sure that the power adapter can handle the AC mains voltage and frequency in your country/area (Apple products often have a 100-240 V AC range at 50/60 Hz).
