Bulgarian language pack for macbook sequoia

Hello everyone :)

I followed these steps as described in the link below, unfortunately the operating system language remains in English.... :(

Sets the language of your Mac. To change the language later, open System Preferences, click General in the sidebar, click Language & Region, and then choose your options. Set your country or region.

Will this misunderstanding be resolved sometime in the future.... Thank you!

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.3

I can't read Bulgarian, but the process is very simple.

1) Add the language you want (in this case Bulgarian) in System Settings->General->Language & Region, by pressing + and selecting (use the search box to find it quickly):

2) You should be asked if this is to be the main language:

Confirm it, or you can keep English, and later drag Bulgarian to the top of the list:

3) RESTART your mac

That's it.

NOTE 1: it is likely that some applications are not localized to Bulgarian; these will default to the second language.

NOTE 2: I did not go through with the restart step as above, because I can't speak Bulgarian; but I have done this several times on different Macs using Portuguese, and other languages (English UK; French) and it has always worked.

Yes, Apple publishes what system languages are available at

Only Apple can add new ones. To ask for more, go to

You can however have Bulgarian on an iphone/ipad:
