suddenly getting this message and iphone is no longer discovering the panasonic home cell phone. I've had it connected to this cell phone for years - to announce I have a text or to get a call when i'm not near my cell. It worked fine last wk.

Can your iPhone connect to any other bluetooth or wifi devices? If yes, the issue lies with the Panasonic (which yes, could have happened after an iOS update) but that still puts the responsibility on Panasonic to either have a solution or update for their wireless phone system.
never an update to the panasonic home cordless phone. it's broadcasting to reconnect, iphone doesn't see it. I can see the cordless phone broadcast on other bluetooth devices.
this platform won't let me update the title to cordless phone from cell phone.
btw - i have unpaired and removed the cordless phone from my iphone, and still get the popup message when the cordless phones are all unplugged and off. and others have complained about the message. I'll just move on as clearly will not get an answer why apple is doing a popup message for no reason.

It's more likely the Panasonic is alerting you to the message. I get people assume Apple is at fault with anything associated with their iPhone. But Apple doesn't own Panasonic. Apple doesn't own the code for the Panasonic phone system. Apple can't fix a connection issue with a device they have no control over. Clearly something with the pairing has gone amiss. If you are unwilling to contact Panasonic for help, then there really isn't anything else I can offer here. I do hope you get this resolved.
That's something you'd want to talk to Panasonic about. Apple doesn't own them.
