Presumably you mean a successful ear tip fit test?
Everybody's ears are different. I can use small, medium or large ear tips and they all allow me to do a successful test but the most comfortable is a small in my left ear and a medium in my right.
My sister was unable to get any of Apple's ear tips to work for her as her ears generate so much wax and she has small ear canals. I went onto Amazon and bought five different packets of ear tips in different sizes and materials. The only set that worked for her had memory foam inside and silicon on the outside. She also needed ear hooks that hold them in place. I sent those that didn’t work back.
