Potential Apple Pay scam text message

I received a text stating that an amount was charged to my Apple Pay account which I rarely use. I did not respond because no transaction was made according to my bank and Apple Pay account. Scam? Or should I be worried?

No, those texts are from scammers hoping you’ll click on a link. If in doubt call 1-800-MY-Apple. Always better safe than sorry.
