Can I update my MacBook Air to macOS 13.1 or later?

When I try to update to the newest software, my computer says it is updated. Current version is macOS Version 12.7.6. When I try to use another software (Adobe) it will not update since my laptop software has to be 13.1 or newer. How do I install the newest version when the computer updated software shows it's already updated?

I do have an older MacBook Air and trying to get around purchasing another if possible.

In order to run macOS Ventura (13.1 or newer), you would need a 2018 MacBook Air (or newer) model.

If yours is "maxed out" at macOS Monterey 12.7.6, you must have a pre-2018 model.

Sorry, there's no workaround for this. Newer software requires newer computers to run. That's always been the case and is true for this one.
