Does reservation or appointment takes fees if apple coverage is expired

A reservation and/or appointment is free of charge. If your device requires repair/replacement, there will be a charge if you no longer have AppleCare or AppleCare+.

An initial appointment is free. However, if you do end up needing repair, then with coverage it will be cheaper, and without coverage it will cost more. It’s just how insurance works.
