Apple Vision Pro useful for Macular Degeneration

My father is one of 11 million people in America with Macular degeneration. My father purchased an Apple Vision Pro to see if the Apple Vision Pro could help. It has changed his life! My father loves movies and books, and his vision had declined from macular degeneration to the point that he was unable to read more than a few letters at a time with assistance from either his iPad or from a physical magnifying glass.

Macular degeneration affects a person's ability to see things in front of them. The macula, a central part of the retina is greatly impacted but peripheral vision is not impacted. There is basically a distortion in the middle of one's vision making it so the brain can no longer interpret lines and shapes correctly.

As I was researching possible vision aids and treatments, I was saddened to see that there were no instruments or treatments to help macular degeneration. I came up with the idea of using the Apple Vision Pro as device to assist, but I could not find a single article or comment online which discussed using Apple Vision Pro for macular degeneration.

My father has now been using the Apple Vision Pro for a couple months and it has changed the quality of his life significantly. With 11 million people suffering from macular degeneration in the US alone, I want to work with Apple to understand the impact that Apple Vision Pro can have on the lives of so many. I do not know who I should contact from Apple, but I would love to share more details about how the Apple Vision Pro is being used by my father and hopefully work to inform others suffering from macular degeneration about possible benefits.

Please help me reach someone at Apple who I could talk with to help.

Am no expert in this area ... Seems one of the best avenues to start with may be with Apple's Accessibility Support Team who help assist Apple users with Apple's Accessibility features.

See: How to contact Apple for accessibility support - Apple Support

or

Apple's Accessibility Support Website

(NB: You can click the "Get Support - start now" link at the bottom of their website:)

Accessibility Support - Official Apple Support

or

You can provide feedback ... perhaps you would like to add a link to your post here

To provide feedback about an accessibility feature on an Apple product, email the Accessibility team: accessibility@apple.com.

or

If another suggestion is preferable : Apple Vision Pro Support Team have a website, with a contact link at the bottom. (online chat / phone / email etc.)
