can't connect bluetooth speaker to iphone

first time one connects a bluetooth speaker or headset to a device one has to put the speaker into pairing / discovery mode

how one goes about doing so differ from device to device it would be in the documentation or on the website of the manufacturer or just google

and follow the guides in the hits google provides

then if it was me then I would make the ios device forget the speaker and then put it into pairing mode and repair it again, if that did not help then I would try to pair it with other devices if that would also not work then I would suspect a defect in the speaker being the cause.
