Apple doesn’t charge merchants or consumers any fees for using Apple Pay. If you’re being charged foreign transaction fees they come from one or more of these sources, merchant, Payment Network Operator (Visa, Mastercard etc.) and bank that issued the card.


Some banks and PNO may waive foreign transaction fees on some of their cards. Merchants may be adding fees, but they’ll be disclosed at checkout.
