AppleCare for new MacBook Air?
Would you recommend AppleCare for a new 13" MBA? For one year or three?

You can go with either. Apple currently offers you the ability to switch to a "month-to-month" plan after those initial plans expire. I know as I am doing this with a number of my Apple devices. Although there is no guarantee they will not change the rules in the future.

Because I ordered thru the Veteran & Military site, I got 3 years of AppleCare for $179 which I thought was good. Because of my configuration it won't arrive until Feb 6-10--just hope my iMac holds on.
Hello again ~ See *Tesserax’s* post for some great information. For the price …I don’t think you can go wrong…like you the one time I didn’t get it would be the one time I needed it!! :-) Enjoy your new MBA.

Thanks--I've always gotten it before and guess I will again--I'm sure if I don't it will be the one time I'll be sorry. ;-)
If I get an annual plan how many years can I renew it? The fixed plan is 3 years; can I renew it after 3 years if I want to?
Hello once more~ Adding my hopes as well. I am actually a little jealous of your new purchase ;-) Check back and let us know how you like it? Take care.
