Techtool Pro 15 and OS 15

Does anybody know whether Techtool Pro 15 is compatible with macOS 15 on an M1 iMac? I have that version of TTP, and really only keep it around in case of technical issues. It's not worth it for me to spend the significant amount of money to upgrade to TTP20 and the new subscription business model. I can't find anything on the Micromat website, nor can I find a TTP discussion group.

Specifically:

• TTP is running in the background and generating snapshots, but I don't want to open the app itself unless I know there won't be any issues. Has anyone any knowledge about this? Are there any TTP 15 features that won't work (I know about eDrive and ProToGo)?

• Does Micromat officially support this?

• Are there any features introduced in TTP since release 15 that are 'must-haves' ?

• Anything else I should know?

Thanks,

Paul.

TechTool Pro was released in late 2021 and updated through October 2022.

Sonoma came out in 2023, and Sequoia came out even later. It is almost certain that TechTool Pro 15 is not fully compatible with Sequoia. I would not even consider using a utility that has the power of TechTool Pro (it does many of the things that Disk Utility is used for, including modification/correction of the file system if there are errors, etc.) with such an old version. My version is TechTool Pro 20.

Micromat has structured its pricing so one must pay every so often to upgrade. This is the cost of using this tool. Some vendors set up subscription plans, Micromat also offers that for TechTool Pro. Alternatively you can make a one time payment for a "lifetime" license but updates are covered for only one year. One way or another, one has to pay every so often to stay current. In my view, using an outdated version with a current MacOS is dangerous and I would never do it.
