My iphone 16 pro max is laggy

My brand new iphone 16 pro max is slow and malfunctioning. I haven’t droped it, put it in water or anything. They keyboard is slow and when you click a key it literally does nothing sometimes and you have to click it multiple times…🙄 I’m constantly tapping the wrong keys now so I have to backspace but its slow so it makes it worse. When I'm swiping it stays in the wrong spot then pops to the next thing quickly. Basically everything hesitates and is behind in the touch. Like typing this has been hard. Its taken me about 2 minutes. Normally, I would be finished in 30. Im just really unhappy with this new 1phone 16 pro max. I want my 13 pro max back. It was better.
