iPhone Mirroring not working - Endless Loop

When launching the iPhone Mirroring app on my Mac I get in an infinite loop - the iPhone Mirroring app repeatedly asks me to lock and unlock my iPhone.

I recall it did work once or twice before this issue appeared but since I got this error it never mirrored again.

When I try to revoke access to my iPhone I get an error too.

How do I fix iPhone mirroring loop requiring locked phone? Iphone mirroring keeps asking me to unlock my phone, then tells me it can't connect unless locked As said above. Both iphone 14 and macbook pro 2019 have the latest ios/macos loaded. When I click to mirror the phone. My macbook asks that I unlock to connect. So I do that and click connect. Then my macbook says.
