My iPhone and iPad were purchased in the US but I live in Italy now, how can I get TikTok?

I’m from the US and that’s where I bought my phone and iPad but I am now living in Italy. I know that TikTok was removed from the American market but since I live in Europe now I feel like I should be able to download the app but I’m getting the message saying it’s not available in the AppStore.

Your Apple Account needs to be set to a country where TikTok is not banned. To Italy, perhaps. Is it?
