MacBook Air free drive space suddenly jumped from 148-160 to 210

Always have had MacBook Airs. Typically, I have used only 80-90 GB of the 245 GB. When I upgraded from the M2 to the M3 version a year ago, noticed my free storage dropped a bit...maybe related to upgrades. Most recently was as low as 147 GB. Also, in addition to iCloud backups, also (belt and suspenders) back up to a local external hard drive. Back-up every day. All of the sudden, not related to anything I can figure out (other than turning off Apple Intelligence (still on device), my hard drive free space SOARED to now 210 GB.

Don't get me wrong..LOVE IT, but what could case this sudden of an improvement literally overnight?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 15.2
