I phone says unavailable but I know password
My iPhone says unavailable but I know the password to the phone I just need to type it in what do I do

It sounds like you may be confusing the Passcode......(that 6 digit number that you enter to unlock the phone)......with your Apple ID Password......(which is used to authorized purchases and changes in your settings).
If Unavailable is displayed on your phone, that means that you....or someone else.....have entered the wrong Passcode too many times and phone has locked out to protect your data.
