Notes app randomly lags and crashes with Apple Pencil Pro

I recently purchased a new iPad Pro and am using the notes app with the Apple Pencil pro. The notes app randomly starts lagging then crashes and I lose all the notes I had been taking for the last hour or last day. This is extremely frustrating and the fact that users continue to experience this without any clear fix is maddening. Especially when apple employees are saying “nothing is wrong” on social media posts (https://www.reddit.com/r/ipad/comments/1bgh53s/handwritten_notes_in_the_notes_app_glitching_and/)the only other offered solution is “buy iCloud storage”. You should make products that work instead of siphoning money from the public.
