App Store download issues due to Payment failures
I’ve been trying to download a app that doesn’t even require a payment method but it’s not letting me download it because the payment has supposedly failed.

It sounds like you may have an unpaid order. You can view if this is the case in your Settings > Name > Media & Purchases > View Account > Purchase History on iOS & iPadOS.
