can i rename photos taken with my 10X max?
The pics taken with my phone, and saved on my phone, I would like to give a file name that relates to the pic

The filename is permanent. We use the Caption field in the Info window.
The caption can be longish, it is searchable, and it exports with the picture's metadata, so it is quite stable.
If you have a Mac, then you can use the Title field and Keywords but, while searchable, those fields don't show in iOS or iPadOS.
