It really depends on your preference. If you would rather start your day with a full charge at 100% or have your battery health last a bit longer over time but with an 80% charge limit. I agree with you for both options that you shouldn’t let your iPhone battery get below 20%. I personally do the 80% charge limit as my iPhone 16 Pro Max has plenty more battery life than I need and I always end the day with extra charge.
