Screen Goes Black Under Heavy Usage, But iPhone Still Running

Hey everyone,

I’m having an issue with my iPhone that I’m hoping someone here can help me troubleshoot. The phone works perfectly fine most of the time, but whenever I do something slightly intensive “like taking videos or charging the phone while using it”the screen goes completely black. The weird part is that the phone is still running in the background.

Here’s what happens step-by-step:

1. After a bit of heavy usage, the screen suddenly turns black.

2. If I press the power button once, the phone shuts off (since it was technically still on when the screen went black).

3. Pressing the power button again lights up the Lock Screen for half a second before it goes black again.

4. To get it working normally again, I have to wait for the phone to cool dow or let the battery run down completely. After that, it’s back to functioning normally.

This has made it really tricky to use the phone for extended video recording sessions or while charging and using apps at the same time. I’m not sure if it’s a hardware issue, like overheating or a problem with the display, or something software-related.

Has anyone experienced something like this? If so, do you have any advice on how to fix it?

I’ve already have visited an Apple Store but they did not solve this.

Thanks in advance for any help!
