It could be software related or a hardware issue. You’re welcome to contact Apple Support and have remote diagnostics performed on the device or have Apple examine it for possible repair. Some users have had luck just turning the device off and on. A forced restart is another option. I’ve provide links below to contact Apple Support and to how to perform a forced restart.
