Apple TV going to screensaver while watching a program

Hello. I am having a problem with the Apple TV going to the screensaver while I’m watching tv. I’ve seen other users post this concern and the responses are typically the same. “Change the time it takes for the wallpaper to kick in” or “update”. Neither of these seem to fix it. Is there a true fix?

Apple TV 4K screensaver stuck on LA night Hello all New here. Have a new Apple 4K tv just purchased 11/20/25. Running tvOS 26.1. Screensaver stuck on LA night. Restarted many times. Factory reset twice! Unplugged and replugged unit several times. Changed frequency and start times for screensaver. Have no games loaded. Only six tv apps (Netflix, Prime, HBO, etc). Fiber optic WiFi running 350+ mbps. Only an iPad, Mac, and two phones connected. Any suggestions. Will not load any other images.

Screensaver issue in TVOS 26 After the recent update to TVOS 26 on my Apple TV 4K and Apple TV Gen3, I have found tha the screen saver wil not change to personal preferences, such as music albums in Home Sharing. I have tried resetting many times, but the screensaver always defaults back to the Aerials screensaver each time.
