Playlist order resists being changed on playlists that include album art
I've been experiencing this problem with increasing frequency lately.
I'll go to a playlist. I'll select a chunk of music to move. I'll drag and drop it as usual, and the second it drops in the new location, it jumps back to where it was originally. This happens in both Songs and Playlist mode and I already have the Sort set to Playlist Order and Ascending. If I change my settings or something, it'll sometimes allow me to move something once, and then the next attempt will snap back again. If I drag a single song up, it'll allow me to move it. If I try to drag that same song down, it will snap back.
I realized this problem almost exclusively happens on playlists that have album art at the top. The thing that clued me into this was when it was happening less frequently, a warning sign it was about to start happening was navigating to a playlist with album art and the art would start to flicker rapidly.
The strangest thing, though, is that this started happening on a playlist that is displaying album art for an album that is not included in that playlist anywhere. The methods I've found to remove album art are about removing it from that album or song, not from the playlist.
This used to only happen occasionally and quitting or restarting would stop it. Now I can't edit half my playlists. I'm on a Macbook Air M1, 2020, running Ventura 13.2.1, and 1.3.2.2 version of the music application. I am very close to quitting iTunes forever because it is so incredibly unuseable.
