Hi is this a legitimate Apple Pay phone number ? 1-877-xxx-xxxx?
I have received a text message saying that an amount of money was charged and if it wasn’t to contact this number.

Of course it is a scam. You should NEVER call a number from an email/message.

Thank you for the reply, I did call and they answered and said it was Apple Support. I hope this helps other apple users.
