After take screenshot then open it with Preview to print.

Take a screenshot on Mac – Apple Support (AU)

The screenshots by default will save on the desktop ,

to take print of open the image with preview and print it .

Are you unable to print this from the printer? Does the printer work with other apps? Have you just upgraded the macOS?
