Transferring music library from IPod Classic to an IPhone SE

My new car does not recognise my old IPod Classic which has about 22GB of music on it. My plan is to transfer the music to a newer device (an old IPhone SE running IOS 15.8.3) which the car will connect to. Am thinking this might work thru ITunes which I still have on my Windows PC. Will this work? Any tips as to how?

If the music is in your iTunes library, then you can sync the music when you connect the phone to computer.

If there is no music then you will need to purchase touch copy or imazing to export the data from your ipod to computer and then sync the iphone.

Tks Razmee209 but ITunes on my PC has a whole lot of other music as well. Syncing wld transfer extra music that I don’t want on the “new” device. Am not keen to pay for software to do it either. Is there no other cost free way of doing it?

Don't you think I would've suggest one if there was a free way?

You either do what was suggest or leave it as is.
