Email check Tabak vs Apple

I’ve been scammed in the past so I’m curious about this $200 from Tabak v Apple How can I be sure it’s legit?

deposited

Also received the same email and have been receiving reminders and it definitely seems legit because it’s already showing as part of my balance in my account at my bank

I received a $200 paper check by mail for the settlement from Huntington national bank.

I received the same check for 200.but have not electronically deposited it because it seems scammy to me. Why are they sending us this money?

The emailed check is valid. The deposit of $200 was instantly deposited at Chase.

Because you signed up for a class action suit and this is the payment. They aren’t sending it randomly.

I have a hard copy of a check not e-check. It was made out to the wrong person and I cannot cash it.

Did they put the correct name on the check? My bank will not allow me to cash because the wrong name is on the check. It is worthless to me.

Just a follow-up to my posting on Wednesday. The e-check cleared. To be extra safe I changed password and added 2 step verification.
