MAC Update downloads via commandline stuck at 65%

I am trying to upgrade my mac from macOS Sequoia 15.2 to 15.3 by running `softwareupdate -i -a`, the download gets stuck at 65%, this has happened on multiple machines on my network. Same behavior for my laptop on other networks as well. The UI based update works flawless, only issues when using from commandline.

Using Terminal command " softwareupdate -i -a " and here I stand to be corrected

Is sometimes used to get around the lack of " Ownership " - Administrative Account of the computer

Normally the " Owner Account  " is the very first Account used when the Computer was Very First Setup as New and out of the box.

It could also be that the Computer is working in a Management Environment where a Mobile Digital Management Service like Jamf or similar service

Check in System Setting >> Profiles
