Black Screen while using ARD on client

I discovered that when adding a client and selecting high-resolution instead of standard the client gets a black screen, so I deleted the client and restored it using standard resolution.

ARD to an M1 machine produces a black screen I have a 2013 MacPro. My user just got the first M1 machine in our company. I can remote into his MacBookPro with ARD but his screens appear black (laptop and Apple 30" Cinema Display) with only his cursor visible. He is running the latest Monterrey. I am running the latest Big Sur. My ARD app is 3.9.5 I tried adjusting the image quality slider but it made no difference. HELP!
