LG C2 won't switch to HDR mode on some content

Recently bought an Apple TV 4K Gen 3. My TV only switches to HDR mode on some HDR content. All YouTube HDR content and HDR10 content from Prime, works perfectly. Other HDR content is hit or miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Even the same source material is inconsistent. Since most movies and series is in DV, this isn't a huge problem, but it's still annoying. Anyone know a solution to this? I've tried all settings 4K SDR, 4k HDR, and 4K DV at 60 fps. With or without match content. I'm in Europe, should I try 50 fps?
