Can't find DivX on my computer

I installed DivX for Mac on my MacBook Pro and cannot find it anywhere. It isn't in the applications folder and doesn't come up when I search. However, when I try to play a DivX video online, I don't get an error, so I know it's on the computer. Any ideas?

DivX isn't an application, it's an encoding protocol.

What you've installed is a decoder that tells the OS (or, more specifically, QuickTime) how to decode and play DivX media.

Therefore you don't launch DivX manually in the same way you'd launch other applications. QuickTime will automatically select the DivX decoder when it needs to.
