Unable to turn off Safe Search on iPhone with personal Apple ID

I have checked my settings > screen time > privacy restrictions and that is turned off.

However whenever I try and access anything that has any content that is deemed “safe search” it just pops up to say I am in safe search and I am not the administrator for my device and therefore I cannot turn it off.

my iPhone is linked to only my Apple ID and therefore I should be able to change my settings.

Are you using Google as your search engine? Safe Search is a Google feature. You'll need to turn it off in your Google settings.

SafeSearch (Google)

Or, you may want to consider switching to a different search engine. You can do that in Settings>Search>Search Engine. I recommend DuckDuckGo.
