MagSafe charging case for AirPod Pro 2

Can the faulty AirPod Pro2 charging case with lightning port (year 2022) be replaced with the new MagSafe charging case with usb-c port?

the magsafe charging case is compatible with all of the AirPods Pro for as far as as I know
