Why are streaming videos so dark on my Studio Display

When I try to watch a show using the TV app, dark scenes are so dark that it's unwatchable. I have my brightness set at 100% which doesn't seem to help. I am using Mac Studio along with a Studio Display.

Mac Studio, macOS 15.3

Thanks for the reply. Not the answer I was looking for but at least now I know. I'm a quadriplegic and I spend a lot of time in my office using my Mac. I've got limited space so I don't have room for another display. There are times when I'd like to take a break and watch a little TV. I guess I'll have to stick to YouTube videos or drive my power wheelchair out to the living room to watch TV. Sounds simple, but I have to have my wife take off my glasses, lap desk, and mouse. When I'm done watching, I have to reverse the process. Not worth it for a short break!

By the way, I use Voice Control along with a lap desk and mouse to work on my Mac. I'm not able to use a keyboard. I also use voice to control my TV.

A struggle and challenge no doubt about it. Thank you for sharing!

FWIW, you may want to consider replacing your Studio Display with one of such: https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/all-monitors/sac/monitors/all-monitors/25-27-inch?appliedRefinements=24271,51765 and connect the HDMI to a Siri-enabled Use Siri on your Apple TV - Apple Support Apple TV 4K. That way you get only the best of both worlds.

What to do with the Studio Display you ask? Ask the Mrs! All the best.
