Error 1606 with Kentucky lottery on iPhone

Did you ever get this resolved?? I am having the same issue.

I am having the same issue. I have tried everything. I called the ky lottery app and they said it looks like I’m in another state. I have been on the phone with my phone company trying to fix my ip address, with no luck.

Are you using a specific iPhone app or are you using the Safari browser when you see that error?

I did some searching online and see others that have had that issue. The most likely cause is that the app cannot determine your location. Therefore, try checking the following:

• Settings > Apps > KY Lottery > Location > Set to "While Using the App"
• If you are using a VPN, you must ensure that you are connected to a server in KY
• You may want to try temporarily disabling Private Relay (Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Private Relay > OFF (turn it back on after testing)

Do you use a VPN on your iPhone? If yes, the entire point of a VPN is to mask your address. VPN, unless required by an employer or school is completely not needed on iPhone and doesn't provide the security one thinks they are getting. If you do use a VPN, at a minimum, turn it off and see if this resolves your problem, but even better delete the VPN profile off your phone.

Try contacting the Kentucky Lottery for support with their service.
