Why is my Music artwork jumbled on my iPhone 16 Pro?

I connected my 16 Pro (iOS 18.3) to my new MacBook Air (M3, 2024 Sequoia 15.3) in Finder to do a backup, something I had been doing routinely for years with my iPhone and iMac, using iTunes, without any issues. After ejecting the iPhone I discovered that the artwork in Music is all jumbled up on the 16 Pro but still fine on the MacBook. Does anyone have a solution that will correct the artwork on the iPhone? Thanks.

Apple Music artwork scrambled on iPhone after upgrade This question is about apple music. I have both a MacBook pro and an iphone 16 (upgraded from an iphone 13). The mac runs Sequoia 15.6.1. I use the mac as the master storage file for my music and sync the music to the iphone. I would make music additions to the mac and then sync any changes to the iphone. When I upgraded to the 16 from a 13 I used Apple's side by side transfer to upload all my files to the iphone 16. This worked well with the exception that all of the artwork associated with each song on the phone has been scrambled. The images are intact, they just done match the song now. The artwork on the mac remains correct for each song. Syncing the phone to the mac has no effect on the artwork on phone. The images remain scrambled. I tried deleting some music from the phone but when I then synced to the mac the operation also deleted the same music from the mac so it also appears that the iphone is now the master source for music. I would like to set the mac as the master file and correct the artwork mixing. Thank you in advance.

The Nightmare of importing RIPd M4a files on my iPhone12 from Windows AND getting blank artwork! I am an Android phone user on Windows 11 PC NOW trying to cope with the Mystery of 'Apple' ios - Apple Music. I have RIPd all my old CDs into BOTH MP3 and M4a (and embedded the Artwork using Tag&Rename) Never been a problem on Android I usually set the Artwork at either 300 x 300 pixels or 500 x 500 pixels in size. It has taken me a while using Apple Music, Apple Device to transfer the Music File on to my Phone. Frankly the downloaded standard answer from the Forum didn't solve it for me. But using YouTube videos I have sussed it. You need to know where to put the file on your User Area for Apple Music and the Device Syn. However the few albums I have done have come up with blank artwork. I checked what size the embedded artwork should be and it seems the artwork for Apple Albums aka iphone should be min 1300 x 1300 pixels. So using my Tag&Rename changed the embedded artwork to this 1300 pixels size. But still seems a Nightmare on Apple Street! Using Apple Music I think I could edit the album and ask to ADD the cover artwork again with the enlarged image (just in case) I think. I could do with some helpful advice from an experienced Forum user and not just being pointed at standard articles. Can some one on the Apple side say what size the Artwork should be? Does it make a difference? What would be the best way to ensure the cover artwork is embedded from an Apple/ios/Apple Music point of view. I am learning iPhone because I go to a local U3A IT group. They all seem to be iPhone crazy users. Thought with my IT background I could learn the mysteries of the iPhone and help people with my IT background experience! Maybe that is a pipe dream. Can user Help Me? I see others on the Forum seem to have problems with Ripd music/Artwork and all that jazz.

Artwork not syncing from Mac to Phone This has only just stated for me but now just won't work... I have about 800 CD's ripped in Music and I've spent a *lot* of time getting artwork right etc... I changed my playlist that I sync to my phone (approx 3000 songs) and noticed that loads of artwork had gone missing as it no longer displayed on CarPlay. (I rip to Apple Lossless and then sync to phone as via wireless CarPlay you get lossless audio in the car...) I've tried all the suggestions of deleting all music from the phone, deleting the music app itself, restarting (frequently) and re-syncing from Mac to phone but it's still broken. I now have one of the many albums that won't sync artwork and again, regardless of what I do it doesn't sync the cover.. In Music on the Mac the artwork is there. If I look in finder all the tracks show the artwork in a little icon by the side of each track. Metadactics also confirms that the artwork is embedded in each track. All are Apple Lossless rips. But when I sync just this one album to my phone, no artwork... I'm testing now with one album that fils as it takes approx 1hr to do 3000 songs which has become too tedious when just a single album shows the issue... I'm stumped... Any suggestions?
