Why do my photos in iMovie no longer progress as a Slideshow from the first photo, but the music plays.
Oddly enough, if I introduce a video at the very commencement and reduce it to 2 seconds, then my iMovie slideshow operates fine.
This sounds like a bug ?

Hi,
The freezing issue with photos is a bug that Apple will need to address. Meanwhile, as mentioned in another person's post, the workaround is to insert a video anywhere in the timeline.

Pls help. I have this same issue
Same problem here. Only works if you insert a short video. If you edit to delete photo, it is frozen on first photo again. I have deleted app and reinstalled and same problem still exists.
How do I fix freezing photos issue on iMovie?
