Can't delete passwords from Passwords App (macOS Sequoia 15.3)

I can't delete passwords from the Passwords App, whenever I try to delete a password from the app it asks me to confirm if I want to delete it and when I confirm, it just ignores me and doesn't delete any of them.

I tried:

  • Removing my iCloud account from the Mac. (Even though i have no iCloud account anymore, passwords are still there and I can't delete them)
  • Restarting and trying again.
  • Updating macOS (I started having this issue with Sequoia 15.0, I updated to 15.3 but the issue persists)
  • Using Safe Mode
  • Using Recovery mode to repair the drive and permissions.
  • Re-Syncing an iCloud account.

Passwords just WON'T GO AWAY. I wish there was a way to hard reset or reinstall this app, it is so frustrating! Can't delete this sensitive data

Also.. it is infuriating that when I logged out of my iCloud account on this Mac the OS never prompts to "Remove iCloud Passwords from this Mac", it's so obvious and safe to ask this, but passwords just remain on the Mac.
