Motion to wake in standby/nightstand mode

Recently upgraded from iPhone 15 pro to iPhone 16 plus. On my 15 I had the motion to wake setting in nightstand mode which I liked. On my new 16 the option doesn’t even show in settings. Is this on purpose that it was taken away?

iPhone Standby Mode Setting Keeps Resetting By default, the Standby Mode in iOS 17 performs smart rotation on a variety of widgets, including time, weather, photo, wallet, etc. I was able to long press the screen and edit them. I do this to keep only the time and delete everything else. However, every morning when I wake up, the setting will reverse to the default again, namely, the Standby Mode will again be rotating on the full set of widgets, including weather, photo, wallet, etc. Is there a way to permanently set how the Standby Mode is showing the widgets? Or do I have to re-edit the screen every morning? This is on iOS 17.0.1, iPhone 12 mini. Thanks,

Standby on iPhone 13 with iOS 18.3.2 When I put my wife's iPhone on the charging station in landscape then wait 30 seconds it will turn the time on in standby mode. Soon after that the screen goes dark. I have checked the setting for Standby as follows: Standby On Night Mode On Show Notification On Show Preview on Tap Only off Is there another setting to check for this to work? Want to get rid of a clock when the iPhone should do it.

The Apple Article says: "Activate StandBy any time by either tapping the screen, gently nudging the table your iPhone is on, or using Siri." Use StandBy to view information at a distance while iPhone is charging - Apple Support (IN)
