This is the second time now this has happened, and I'm pretty sure I found the fix at this site a couple years ago, and it was really easy.
I have updated IOS, Keyboard is set to US, I have rebooted, and cleaned up the connection. Still the wrong keys, "m" doesn't work at all.
Any idea where I could find that fix?

With that you just have the wrong hardware keyboard mapping checked, probably german instead of us. See

So, in Assistive Touch, I turned off MOUSE KEYS. I got my "m" back, among others. But now other letters are off.
