Can't turn on Gatekeeper

when i type the code:"sudo spctl --master-enable", the terminal feedback like this:"This operation is no longer supported. Please see the man page for more information."

Go to System Settings > Privacy & Security. Scroll down to the Security area. Change Allow applications from to "App Store & Known Developers"

The disable command doesn't disable anything. It only enables the "Anywhere" option in System Setting. Then the internet freaks out because there is another step required to run their pirated software.


But there is no command required to change it from "Anywhere" back to a safe option.


They could have just told people how to remove the quarantine attributes instead. Then they could run their pirate software and keep Gatekeeper enabled. But that's not how the internet works. We must also strike a blow against Apple on the side of user freedom and malware.
