This morning checked my phone for messages and there was a notification from Microsoft saying if I want to continue using my phone number and for Facebook I need to remove the Sin card and put it back to continue now I can’t send messages because there is a pot up saying
In order to send messages it must be enabled,,, don’t know what to do???

Microsoft and Facebook are not related to sending text messages. If you are receiving some kind of notification ostensibly from either one, it is probably a scam.

If you reacted to such a scam by doing something with that iPhone's SIM card, it's not surprising that you may need to set up Messages again.
